Skip Valentine

Skip Valentine -President, Broker-in-Charge

Skip, an avid outdoorsman in his own right, shares his father's passion and is dedicated to furthering his father's vision of developing and preserving critical habitat for our nation's wildlife. Skip has a degree in business management from North Carolina State University.  He has traveled all over the world chasing various big game species in destinations such as Africa and Mongolia.  He is also an avid bird hunter, enjoying both upland bird and waterfowl hunting and conservation.  A former pro-staff biologist for Tecomate Wildlife Systems, Skip has always been on the leading edge of wildlife management.  His knowledge, skill, experience, and passion are evident in his work. 

At the age of 18, Skip became a licensed real estate broker.  Since then, he has made over 2000 real estate transactions. Since 2006 Valentine land and timber have sold over 60 million in Recerational Real Eastate in NC and VA. We can and will do everything it takes to help you, combine this with his ability to match buyer and seller needs is unparalleled. Skip is also experienced in timber brokerage and management for both wildlife habitat and investment. When not spending time in the great outdoors hunting and fishing, Skip enjoys sharing his knowledge by writing articles for outdoor and hunting publications.

Richard Andrews -Broker, Environmental Scientist, Land Management Specialist

Richard is a passionate conservationist, hunter, and fisherman.  He has a Master’s degree in Natural Resources with a focus on Ecosystem Restoration.  He is experienced in various aspects of natural resource management including wetland and stream ecology, wetland and stream restoration, wetland assessment and delineation, perennial and intermittent stream identification, soil science, conservation easement programs for landowners, wildlife management, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).  Richard GIS specialties include land resource database management, terrain and hydrologic modeling, and computer cartography.  Richard’s previous work has included environmental consulting and working as a full-time, year-round mate on various Gulf Stream charter fishing boats out of Hatteras and Oregon Inlet, NC. While not at work, Richard spends most of his time fishing and hunting.

Jeff Wolgemuth -Broker, Registered Forester 

Danny Foss- Wildlife Manager and Full Time Caretaker- Point of the Neuse Plantation- Lenior County

Danny is the backbone and the DO! Behind all the wildlife management in the company, with over 20 years experience farming and trapping. Danny bring a very important element to the valentine land and timber team. Operations manager on over 7000 acres danny spends most of his time improving and developing habtiat on the 2000 acres in Lenior county where he and his wife Monica and daughter Abby live full time. " I got the greatest job in the world and I live it every day I wake up"! Danny says. This year Danny harvested the largest buck in Company history on the eastern shore farm with a muzzleloader. Scoring over 160 inches and aged at 5.5 years old. "This deer was a dream come true for me to harvest, I have to work all the time and for it to work out that I got the chance at this buck, well shows in the management styles and practises that Skip has put in place"  This will be my 10 th year working for the Valentine's. Its getting better every year, and we hope to see you soon maybe at "TICK BITE" Or in a duck blind together soon.
