Spring Turkey Hunting

Valentine Land and Timber’s Point of Neuse Plantation has some of the finest turkey hunting in Eastern North Carolina has to offer. With over 1700 acres of upland habitat consisting of wooded land and various food plots surrounded by 400 acres of flooded timber on 3 sides for roosting, we have the ideal setup for harvesting that elusive spring gobbler. We only offer group hunts with a minimum of 5 people, so grab a group of your best friends and come on down. We encourage father/son and father/daughter groups to come hunt on youth day. Our fully guided hunts will have a guide that will take the hunters out, often doing most of the calling and giving instruction as needed. Our semi-guided hunts put a little more responsibility in the hands of the hunter. Each hunter will be setup in a ground blind along the edge of a food plot or in the woods near turkeys on the roost. If you like to do your own calling, then this is the hunt for you.

Hunt Type, Rates, and Deposit Policy:

Regular Season Saturday Hunts (minimum 2 hunters/group):
The cost is $550/day/person for a full day hunt on Saturday with Friday night lodging.
Subtract $50 for no lodging.

Regular Season-Father/son, Father/daughter (minimum 2 pair/group):
The cost is $550/day/pair for a full day hunt on Saturday including lodging on Friday night.
Subtract $50 for no lodging.

To confirm bookings, a 50% deposit is required within 7 days of booking the trip. Advanced bookings are encouraged because we get full. Trips booked within 2 weeks of the date of the trip must be paid in full to secure the reservation. Deposits are non-refundable but can be used as a credit for a rescheduled trip if canceled greater than 21 days before the trip. We offer 100% refunds for weather cancellations.

You will need a North Carolina hunting license, available at most hunting or tackle stores and by calling 1-888-2HUNTFISH (486-3474)

What to bring:

Bring one of your Extra Full Choked Shotguns, Shooting 3inch MAX load, 5 or 6ish. PLEASE SHOOT YOUR GUN PRIOR TO COMING HUNTING! All hunts are from Ground Blinds. NO running and gunning for turkeys. Camo is optional, Black is best inside the Double Blinds. Bugs can be an issue so pack your THERMA CELL or Bug Spary!
