Upland Bird Hunting

Valentine Land and Timber’s intensively managed tracts provide excellent habitat and cover to support both wild and pen raised quail populations during the season. We offer guided upland bird hunting for both wild and early season released birds. We use our own bird dogs for the hunts but encourage you to bring your own, well-trained and behaved dog along for a $100 discount. We require a minimum of 2 people for each quail hunt, and we adhere to all NC Wildlife Resources Commission limits.

We invite groups of hunters to participate in our scheduled dove hunts. With over 250 acres sunflowers and many more acres of corn, milo, and Japanese millet, we have more than enough doves for many people to shoot many limits over the course of the season. We can accommodate large groups, and we commonly hunt over 100 hunters. We have a maximum of 150 hunters, so please book early. Over 5000 birds use our tracts regularly during dove season.
